Before you buy

Check eSIM compatibility

Compatibility depends on the exact device model, regional version, carrier-lock status, and destination network requirements. Confirm each item below before purchasing.

Your device supports eSIM

Look in your mobile or cellular settings for an option such as Add eSIM or Add mobile plan. Model names alone are not enough because regional versions of the same device can differ.

The device is not carrier-locked

A phone can support eSIM and still be restricted to one carrier. Check the carrier-lock status in device settings or confirm it with the carrier that sold the device.

Roaming and network settings are available

The travel eSIM may need mobile data roaming enabled for its line. The device must also support the destination network bands and settings used by the plan.

You have internet during setup

Installing an eSIM usually requires a stable internet connection. Keep the installation details private and follow the plan information shown in the dashboard.
