This Privacy Policy explains how Tellsim collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, checkout, dashboard, support tools, emails, and travel eSIM services. Tellsim is a product of Pervius Limited Liability Co. ("Tellsim," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By using Tellsim, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Tellsim.

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal information is Pervius Limited Liability Co., operating Tellsim.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use Tellsim, and information needed to process payments, provide eSIM plans, prevent abuse, and support customers.

Account and login information

We may collect your email address, name and phone number if you choose to provide them, one-time passcode verification records, login/session status, account creation and last login time, and account security and rate-limit information.

Tellsim uses email-based login with one-time passcodes. We do not ask you to create a password.

Order and eSIM information

When you purchase or receive an eSIM plan, we may collect and store selected plan, destination, coverage area, data amount, validity period, price, order number, order status, currency, payment status, delivery email, and dashboard activity needed to show your plans, resend installation emails, refresh usage, and provide support.

We may also collect and store eSIM installation and service details such as ICCID, QR/LPA activation details, SM-DP+ address, activation code, APN, usage amount, expiration date, network status, and related provider information.

Some eSIM information is sensitive because it may allow installation or reinstallation of an eSIM. You should keep your dashboard and activation details private.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor. Tellsim does not receive or store your full card number, expiry date, or CVC.

Payment processors may collect and process card details, billing details, fraud signals, card country, last four digits, payment method type, authorization status, receipts, disputes, refunds, and related payment records.

We may store payment-related identifiers and order data, such as payment intent ID, charge ID, payment status, refund status, order amount, currency, and payment metadata needed to verify and fulfill your order.

Support information

If you contact support, we may collect your email address, support message and subject, device details you provide, order number, eSIM details, screenshots or troubleshooting information you choose to send, support ticket number, and support history.

Technical information

When you use Tellsim, we may collect technical information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser, device and operating system information, pages visited, request time, error logs, diagnostic information, usage statistics, session data, page interactions, rate-limit and security signals, cookies, local storage, and session storage values needed for login, currency preference, checkout, support drafts, and site functionality.

We may use approximate location to suggest a currency or improve the shopping experience. Exact GPS location is not required for Tellsim's web checkout.

  • To process orders and payments.
  • To provision, activate, deliver, and support eSIM plans.
  • To show your dashboard, QR/LPA details, order history, plan status, and usage.
  • To send order confirmations, eSIM delivery emails, support replies, refund updates, security alerts, and service messages.
  • To prevent fraud, payment abuse, unauthorized access, spam, scraping, and misuse.
  • To enforce our Terms and protect Tellsim, customers, payment processors, provider partners, and networks.
  • To troubleshoot bugs, service errors, payment failures, delivery problems, and provider issues.
  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, sanctions, dispute, chargeback, and law-enforcement obligations.
  • To improve Tellsim's products, design, performance, security, and customer experience.

4. Legal bases for processing

Depending on your location, we process personal information under one or more legal bases, including performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where required, such as optional marketing communications or certain cookies if used in the future.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with trusted third parties when needed to operate Tellsim, including payment processors, provider and network partners, email and communication providers, cloud hosting, database, analytics, logging, monitoring and infrastructure providers, fraud prevention and security providers, professional advisors, government authorities, courts, regulators, law enforcement, or another company in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

We share only what is reasonably necessary for the purpose involved.

6. Provider and network partners

Tellsim works with provider and network partners to deliver eSIM plans. To provide the service, we may share order, account, plan, activation, usage, troubleshooting, and technical information with those partners.

Provider partners may return eSIM and usage details to us, such as ICCID, activation information, plan status, data usage, expiration date, APN, available network information, and related technical identifiers.

These partners may process information according to their own legal obligations and privacy practices.

7. Stripe and payments

Stripe or another payment processor handles card details directly. Tellsim does not store your full card number, expiry date, or CVC.

Payment processors may provide us with payment status, receipt status, charge ID, payment intent ID, card brand, last four digits, card country, fraud/risk result, refund status, dispute status, and related payment metadata.

We use this information to verify payment, fulfill orders, prevent fraud, handle refunds, respond to disputes, and keep accounting records.

8. Email, OTP, and service communications

Tellsim may send one-time passcodes, login and security messages, order confirmations, eSIM delivery emails, support replies, refund or payment updates, service notices, and abuse, fraud, or account-related notices.

Service-related emails are necessary to provide Tellsim and may not include an unsubscribe option. If we send optional marketing emails in the future, we will provide unsubscribe controls required by law.

You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. Anyone with access to your email may be able to access your Tellsim account and eSIM activation details.

9. Cookies and local storage

Tellsim may use cookies, local storage, and session storage for login sessions, currency preference, checkout flow, rate and catalog caching, support draft saving, security and fraud prevention, and remembering basic interface choices.

Our login cookie is stored as an HTTP-only cookie. This helps protect it from browser-side scripts.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you block or delete cookies, some parts of Tellsim may not work correctly.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including server-side handling of secrets, tokenized payments, HTTP-only login cookies, access controls, database protections, rate limiting, and security checks.

No website, database, email system, or internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you believe your account, email, dashboard, payment, or eSIM activation details have been accessed without authorization, contact us immediately.

11. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the service, maintaining order history, supporting customers, preventing fraud and abuse, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations, and keeping accounting records.

OTP codes expire quickly and are removed or invalidated after use, expiry, or too many failed attempts. Guest checkout tokens are short-lived and used only to verify a specific order. Order, payment, refund, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, eSIM activation, usage, support, log, and security records may be kept as required or permitted by law and business needs.

If your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep it for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, payment, dispute, security, provider-support, or other legitimate business reasons.

12. International transfers

Tellsim, our payment processors, provider partners, infrastructure providers, and support tools may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Data protection laws may differ by country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

13. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of certain information, object to or restrict certain processing, request a copy of your information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, opt out of certain marketing communications, or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Some requests may be limited by legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, payment, dispute, provider, or operational requirements. For example, we may need to retain order and payment records even if you ask us to delete your account.

14. California and other US state privacy rights

We do not sell personal information.

If privacy laws in your state apply to Tellsim, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of certain uses.

We do not knowingly use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a "limit use" right under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

15. European, UK, and similar privacy rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another region with similar laws, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws. 16. Children

Tellsim is not intended for children or anyone who cannot legally enter into a contract. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required by law. If you believe a child provided personal information to us improperly, contact us and we will review the request.

17. Illegal use, abuse, and law-enforcement requests

Tellsim has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material, exploitation, fraud, hacking, threats, violence, terrorism, sanctions violations, or other illegal or harmful activity.

If we believe Tellsim, an account, an order, payment, eSIM, or network access is connected to illegal or abusive activity, we may preserve records, suspend service, investigate, notify payment processors or provider partners, and disclose information to law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other authorities when required or permitted by law.

18. Third-party websites and services

Tellsim may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party websites or services. Payment processors, provider partners, email providers, device manufacturers, app stores, browsers, mobile operating systems, and mobile networks may have their own privacy policies.

19. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law.
